DIRTY EARTHLINGS.
Stepping on the stage for the first time in 1988, TEXT
1, ( age 9) and his brother SNUPH,
( age 6) appeared at the “Take Back the Streets”
outdoor concert, in Denver, Co. This media acclaimed event garnered the front
pages of the local newspapers and was also the lead story on many of the local
television newscasts. All agreed on one point: A young rap duo from Denver had
"STOLEN THE SHOW" This began a storm of media attention that climaxed
with their being asked to perform at the 1988 Budweiser Budfest concert. Over
the next several years the boys performed as RAD,
and later as The Binz
Boyz; recording the theme song for the
international hit motion picture “DOLLY DEAREST”.
Relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1992, The
Binz Boyz released “THE MOB
OF LAS VEGAS”, which
brought them international attention. They changed their name to
Blok Rokaz (pronounced
Block Rockers) to
reflect their ever maturing sound and released
“KICKBACK"
and “THIS IS FOR
THE WESTSIDE” which
expanded their fan base and led to performances with the likes of Red
Man, Jay-Z, The Five Footas, Razkaz, Immature, Run-DMC
and Whodini.,
Their lyrical exploits have been heard on major radio stations in Los Angeles,
St Louis, Orlando, Denver and even in the international markets of London, Amsterdam
and Sidney. As with other styles of music it is often said that "a good
lyric is a strong song" and these guys are definitely swimming toward the
deep end of that statement. Anyone listening with EARS will readily admit that
SKILLS, SKILLS and more SKILLS are a primary, fundamental feature of this group.
The potential of this combination of beats and rhymes is unfathomable.
Now returning to the stage with a more mature focus and seasoned skills they are known as DIRTY EARTHLINGS.
TEXT 1 ; born FREEMAN BEATY began his performing career at the age of 7 as a mutifaceted member of the Hip Hop Nation, TEXT represented B-BOY style breakdancing to the fullest appearing in David Byrne's motion picture "True Stories" and the underground classic film "Cold Chillin".. Now with his attention fully focused on creating beats, producing tracks, controllin mics, stages and any M.C. "with the testes to battle …", TEXT is set to command the attention of mad Hip Hop Headz PERIOD! TEXT 1 is undefeated in free style combat.
SNUPH ; (pronounced SNUFF) born FRANKLIN BEATY, began representing on the mic as a little shorty (age 6). At the age of 8, as the star of his own T.V. show "BEATY'S BEAT", he established himself as a well known Denver media star. As TEXT's understudy in the rap game, Snuph began building his lyrical skills to fully represent his own on the battle field. He has graduated from the school of Hip Hop with honors having majored in " Lyrical Skills", and excelling in M.C. Demolition 201 and Keepin It Real Without Frontin( Advanced Course). Snuphs lyrical hysterics hit M.C.'s like deadly venom.

In 2007 DIRTY EARTHLINGS, will be seen in the soon to be released film "TEXAS BEACH FESTIVAL MOVIE" which incudes Mike Jones, Chamillionaire, Trae, BG and others; and will be appearing on the 2007 Screwed Up World tour.
Dirty Earthlings will host the late night party show on MOTV Vegas baby!
